Shonan Kamakura General Hospital became the first hospital in Japan to receive the “THE BIZZ” award from WORLDCOB.

On August 25, 2025, Shonan Kamakura General Hospital was recognized as one of the world’s outstanding organizations and received “THE BIZZ” Award from the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), headquartered in the United States.

Our hospital was selected for meeting the following five evaluation criteria:

• Leadership in management
• Organizational management systems
• Quality and service
• Innovation and creativity
• Corporate social responsibility (CSR)

This honor acknowledges the excellence of our international, high-quality medical services, making us the first medical institution in Japan to receive this award. Following our recognition at the ESQR Awards in 2023 and 2024 of Europe and the Healthcare Asia Awards 2025 in Asia, this latest achievement in THE BIZZ, which focuses on the organization in North and South America, further demonstrates that our efforts are being recognized worldwide. We will continue to provide medical care that meets international standards while contributing to both our local community and foreign patients.
